In case you can’t read my scruffy writing:
This is my hot water bottle, naked. The cover I have for it is a pink knitted ‘Playboy’ one, so I pulled that off. I think I might make a patchwork cover for it – that would be more my style.
I like using a hot water bottle, especially when I have a tummy ache, but I am always just a bit scared that it will burst open and leak water everywhere, even though this has never happened…
It’s going to be freezing tonight, so I might need to make use of this hot water bottle

Great sketch Viv!
Love keeps me warm
Stew.
Aw, Stew, you are such a romantic
And love smells better than rubbery hot water bottles too I reckon!
Just to let you know that you’ve won the wintry fabric book in my giveaway.
If you email me at ahall2410 ‘at’ aol.com (no spaces) with your snail mail address then I’ll get it sent off to you!
Oh wow! I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am to have won this!!
I LOVE SKETCH JOURNALLING! I use water color! Your water bottle is LOVELY!
Me too. I used artists pens for this one but sometimes i use watercolours, or cheat by using Inktense pencils with a watercolour brush afterwards
LOVELY!! I love watercolor! I used to design quilt fabric FOR MY SELF!! Not for anyone else!
Well that sure fits the category!
I really like your sketch of it! I never knew a hot water bottle could look so good.
Thanks Dan!
Love this, drawing and commentary;)
Thank you!
I hope you post pics of the patchwork cover when you finish it – patchwork would be so much more comforting than Playboy!
