Board Games Not Bored Brains

Well, as suspected, the weather turned rubbish this week!  Not so good for smoothies but perfect for board games and baking. Here are a few of our favourite games:

We made macaroons using this recipe over on Real Food Forager.  Certainly not your average cloyingly sweet commercial macaroons but no less delicous, especially topped with a dollop of thick coconut cream.  Well, there’s not much that we don’t like served with a dollop of thick coconut cream lol.

Yesterday we visited an art show put on by a local art group. The boys bought themselves an armful of postcards and, as soon as we got home, set to making their own reproductions. Here’s Hunstanton Cliffs as drawn by Waif:
