Daily Paper Prompt #35 Ten Tiny Things

This Daily Paper Prompt has been a family affair, with both boys taking part in collecting, arranging and sketching an array of tiny things.

Gman drew a die, badge, bobbin, pencil sharpener, chess piece, ring, quilting pin, Lego brick, thimble and coin:

Waif went for a Lego minifigure, die, shell, Pokemon token, elastic band, coin, plectrum, sewing machine foot, chess piece, Geomag magnet and a miniature spool of thread:

I chose to draw Gman’s collection of tiny things:

  3. How fun! These are great.

  4. Mary Walker says:

This is a wonderful idea I will try to remember this so I can do it with my girls when they are older.

  5. I love these. There’s something about the miniscule—creates a kind of intimacy. the negative space. and your kids’ art blows me away. Your creative energy is admirable–keep up the momentum!

  6. these are awesome, what a great idea. seeing things like this makes me wish I was an art teacher, then I think of all the boring “school” stuff you also have to do and I dont want to.

I will reply to comments here on the blog, so please check back if you are looking for a response! I love hearing from you x
