I missed a day!

So, I missed a day of the 30 Days of Get Your Art On Challenge…but I did have a good excuse because I spent the day at the Knitting & Stitching Show, being amazed and inspired and flabbergasted at the array of creativity on display. And, I got to meet the lovely and charming manbroiderer supreme, Jamie Chalmers aka Mr X Stitch. I think my cheesy grin tells you how excited I was to meet him 🙂

pleased to meet mr x stitch

The night before the show, I did do a little drawing in my journal, which I can show you:

pork joint

I consider myself to be a pretty competent cook, but I can’t carve a joint for love nor money, so I drew this picture before the decimation began:

Normal challenge entries will resume shortly 🙂

Thanks for the photo of Mr X Stitch…I had never heard of him so I checked out his site and found such interesting things. It might even entice me to get out my needle and threads and do some x-stitch again!

I will reply to comments here on the blog, so please check back if you are looking for a response! I love hearing from you x
