A good way to find time for my own creative pursuits is to rope the boys into joining in with them!

It’s been ages since we spent some time drawing together but today we did and I think we all feel better for it, despite the theme being to draw something blue πŸ™‚

Gman drew some pliers:

blue - g

Waif went with the trusty old Ranger radio:

blue -r

And I drew this lovely blue bottle of “Revive” mixture made up by my friend Claire:

something blue

It is the colour of a poison bottle, but that makes it more appealing to me – not sure what that says about my mind!!

Looked as if this kept you all far from blue. πŸ™‚

Yes indeed. It was good to rediscover the uplifting power of sketching πŸ˜‰

Good for you. You are all such good artists it is a shame not to be doing it.
I like the sound of the revive potion.

Nice to see you back on the blog, Viv! I can imagine how tough it would be to balance homeschooling and your own creative life, and all the other thousands of responsibilities you have. But yes (referencing your previous post), I think it is VERY important for you to carve out time for projects that are just for YOU.

I will reply to comments here on the blog, so please check back if you are looking for a response! I love hearing from you x
