Getting Back in the Sewing Groove

It’s been a while, but this weekend I did a bit of sewing. I made a doll! I was planning to give her away as a gift, but I’m not sure now. She’s kind of plain…

Though I like the serenity in her face. I need some of that!

I’ve also been sewing a bunch of pennants to make bunting for a friend. She requested “traditional colours – baby blue and pink”. Hmmm, not the sort of colours that find their way into my stash but hopefully they will fit the bill!!

It’s good to get the sewing machine out, but I prefer hand stitching and am tantalisingly close to finishing another round on my hexagon quilt…watch this space!

  2. I love the faces your dolls have – they are so simple but so effective and the hint of eyelashes on the eyes are brilliant.
