Seeing Red

The last week or two in our house has been a blur of blankies, honey & lemon, and daytime TV as one by one, we all succumbed to a particularly horrid flu type virus.

Finally, this weekend, we managed a short creative drawing session as we tackled the Sketch Tuesday assignment “draw something red”.

Here’s my shiny red shoes (a £3 charity shop bargain from last year!)

Waif drew a tin of smoked paprika:

And Gman drew some tomatoes:

Here’s hoping we are back to full health and creative powers by the end of this week!!

  1. All a lot better than flu-ey red noses, but good to hear you’re all on the mend! I’m very envious of your red shoes. :o)

I love the shoes (and your drawing of them!) – are you still doing the ‘no shop… month’? You did that for an entire year, do I remember that correctly?

I did a whole year of not buying any new clothes but have finished since the end of November. Having said that,I haven’t exactly been rushing out to buy loads of new garb! I have bought one dress and a pair of walking shoes!! Much more sensible footwear than these red ones, but not as much fun 🙂

I will reply to comments here on the blog, so please check back if you are looking for a response! I love hearing from you x
